The answer is they could not balance their schedule.  There are so many distractions at home that are not at a regular job. Such as you three year old who wants cookies or your friend who wants to brunch everyday. These are the distractions that could get you off track.  Our family and friends may not realize that you are really “working” but you are just work at home.

Your phone seems to constantly want to ring and the recipients of this call wants to have long conversations because you are at home right? They automatically assume you can talk cause you are not at work. Wrong. When you work at home, you have to have motivation.

There are times when its not your friend who are stealing you away from your work. it’s the Television. Or it’s the game of solitaire on the computer.  After all, going to throw the football with your child sounds better than typing these long papers. Working at home calls for organization.

You can not expect to stay on task all the time. You are in pajamas sitting at your home office desk, you are going to be tempted. Temptations are going to scream your name, but what you have to do is organize yourself and create an environment that is going to block out all interruptions and cause you to succeed when working at home.
