Drag-and-drop the ROM contents to the micro-SD card, then insert the card in ‘Revolution for DS’ card. Now, you are ready to plug-in the DS card in your Nintendo gaming console.
Insert the R4 Card in your Nintendo DS and then turn on the console. The card’s GUI operating system automatically boots up after skipping up the main menu of DS. First, loading screen pop-ups for less than one second and then main menu of card appear up. You will notice the large logo on the top and language version in the bottom right corner.
There are three touch-screen controls including Boot SLOT-2, Multimedia, and Game. You can select any option either through tapping with stylus or pressing with face buttons. The touch-screen also displays current firmware version and time in HH:MM:SS format in the bottom-right corner.
The Game icon redirects you to the listing of directories and files stored on your micro-SD card. The folders list is on the top, whereas you will find list of .NDS files and their file size information on the bottom. You can press ‘Select’ to toggle the display between only .NDS files and combination of folders list with .NDS files. It is not possible to browse the directory using touch-screen, so you can use d-pad to open the directories one by one. You can press ‘Start’ to go back to main menu.
You can select ‘Multimedia’ option to start the Moonshell, default media player for R4DS cards. Select ‘Boot Slot-2’ to launch ‘PassMe’, which allows booting up Slot-2 cards like Supercard or M3 Adapter using Buy R4 interface.
